The education and outreach team works with PacIOOS researchers to interpret and communicate scientific information to natural resource managers, researchers, educators and the public. They are focusing on two main areas: 1) working with the PacIOOS data management group, regional liaisons and public focus groups to ensure useful and up to date products and services and, 2) ongoing outreach efforts through development and distribution of outreach materials and the PacIOOS newsletter.
